Creative Bio

Louis J. Hall is a native of Minnesota and graduated with honors from the University of St. Thomas with a BA in Studio Art and completed undergraduate art studies at St. John's University, MN.

Private and corporate collections hold Louis J. Hall's artwork.

Louis is a professional illustrator with renderings in science books, science museum public galleries, national publications and an award-winning traveling exhibit. One science publication, ISBN 0-911338-42-X, refers to his illustrations as "perspicuous and beautiful."

Angelic Twaddle Comics is one of Louis' latest creative projects; he is the author and illustrator of this comic series.

At the Science Museum of Minnesota, Louis designed, prototyped and launched an original interactive art exhibit that traveled nationally in the Physical Science Experiment Gallery. Louis also was awarded the Richard G. Drew Physics and creativity Award from 3M.

Louis' United States patent 8181961 which specifies a unique new toy design is currently in development as a new consumer product.

Photography remains as one of Louis' main creative tenants; many of his photographic images have been published in Fortune 500 publications, global consumer electronic literature and other industry collateral. An area of specialty is digital photo-retouching which leverages his experience as a studio fine-artist. His stock-image photography, has a small international following as well as his blog, conceived-design, which addresses creativity/design.

With over 20+ years experience as a professional graphic designer, web site and SEO manager, photographer, artist, Marketing Creative Director of a global manufacturing company, Louis remains very active and productive in the creative process.
